Shock in Nienburg: Former Voices” threatens to become a garbage dump!

Nienburg. The once pulsating discotheque "Voices" at the Nienburger Schäferhof has become a shadow of itself! The abandoned complex, which once attracted thousands of celebrating people, increases to the garbage dump. Birchs sprout through the parking lot, while strangers unload their waste on the premises. The doors are wide open, and nature gets back the "voices" - a picture of horror!

A ray of hope seemed in sight: a serious prospect wanted to lease the dilapidated building with the 10,000 square meter property. But shortly before the contract was signed there was a scandal! Christian Gohla, who acted as an intermediary, is disappointed. "We had prepared everything, had discussions with the city and even negotiated an appealing lease," he explains. But the restaurateur and entrepreneur Fouad Sharrou, who has been owner of the "Voice" since 2013, suddenly made unexpected demands and left the potential tenants in the rain.

Infit and disappointment

The plans for an exciting outdoor and event concept, which was to take place both on the site and in the building, have now disappeared in the drawer. "That would have been mega for Nienburg," said Gohla, who saw the opportunities for reviving the area. The city was impressed by the business plan of interested parties who did not promise disorders for the neighborhood. But now the further decline of the "voices" is inevitable, and Gohla is looking for alternatives for the outdoor project.

"Maybe the Hattinger will still come to reflection," hopes Gohla, while the ruin will continue to be revealed to decay. A sad end for a place that once stood for unforgettable nights!
