Nursing insurance: Increasing premiums - you have to pay that much!
Nursing insurance: Increasing premiums - you have to pay that much!
The long -term care insurance is on the abyss! The federal government is struggling for a solution because the expenditure exceeds the income dramatically. Next year there will be a painful increase in premiums of 0.15 percentage points, which could heavily burden the insured's wallet. How much do you have to pay more? We have prepared the numbers for you!
for singles without children who have a gross income of 3,000 euros, this means an increase in monthly care contributions from 69 euros to 73.50 euros - a surcharge of 4.50 euros! And that adds up to 54 euros per year! But mothers with two children are also affected: their contribution increases from 43.50 euros to 48 euros, and an increase of 4.50 euros per month. The financial burden is noticeable for many!
The effects on pensioners
Also the retirees have to adapt to higher contributions! A pensioner with two children and a pension of 1,800 euros is charged by EUR 2.70 more per month - his contribution increases from 61.20 euros to 63.90 euros. And for childless pensioners, the Situation is even more serious: their contribution increases from 72 euros to 74.70 euros. The increase makes you twice!
Currently the contribution rate for childless insured persons is 4 percent, while parents only pay 3.4 percent. Employers share the costs, but the upcoming increase could mainly affect employees. Pensioners, on the other hand, have to do the contributions alone, which could further tighten the financial situation of many seniors. The uncertainty about the exact distribution of the costs remains, but one thing is clear: the long -term care insurance urgently needs more money!
