Lauf bangs in Alt Duvenstedt: Record participants celebrate a great atmosphere!

The 15th Duvenstedter village run has once again shown how much joy and enthusiasm such an event can bring. In bright sunshine and a well -organized route, around 400 participants gathered who all wanted to get the best out of their day. Surprisingly, the canceled possibility did not influence the number of active runners on the day of the running, but ensured a new record.

The day started with the so-called stubble flashes, which opened at 10 a.m. with a 600-meter sprint for children. Among the youngest participants was a bright 2 1/2 year old girl who ran over the finish line and was enthusiastically celebrated by her parents. Parents, grandparents and many spectators lined the route and fired the runners on the further distances.

success on the main run

The SG Athletico Büdelsdorf was represented with a strong group at the everyone's run over 5.5 km. Mats Burke and Hanna Wichmann prevailed and won with times of 18:10 and 21:56 minutes. This was followed by Lasse Grimm from TSV Kropp and Janika Kolf from SG Athletico, who also performed impressive performance. In the main run over 10.6 km, the winners Torben Brade, Sven Petersen and Simon Metzler completed the route in times of 40:08, 42:01 and 42:52 minutes. This put them a strong team of winners. Sina Hagge, Maren Peters and Ola Augustyniak won the women's ranking and also ran impressive times.

Another highlight of the day was the child run, which was dominated by the recent sporting talents of TSV Alt Duvenstedt and SV Trihaie Rethwisch. Lisa Katharina Frantzen von Rethwisch won the girls, followed by Emma Rau and Mathilda Strigl. The boys were also able to convince, with Johann Mikkel Christensen achieved the best time with the male participants.

The Nordic Walker continued the event on the 5.5 km long route. Wulf Schütz from Alt Duvenstedt was able to win, followed by Bernd-Dieter Faltin and Erni Schmock. Cornelia von Schamann prevailed for women, while Wiebke Nahrwold and Katrin Christensen took second and third place.

"We are proud and super happy, everything went well. All people present shone with the sun. We were also able to learn great support from the members and from the village. We are already looking forward to 2025!" Said Astrid Jürgens, who is part of the organization team, and drew a positive conclusion. The proceeds of the event will benefit the TSV Alt Duvenstedt and the volunteer fire brigade, whereby the funds should flow into youth work. It becomes clear that events like this not only bring sporting success, but also strengthen the community and promote the joy of sport, such as www.shz.de reported.

This successful run shows that the Duvenstedter village run has become a permanent institution in the region that inspires both participating and spectators. It will be interesting to see what demands the next run will make to the participants.
