Trappenkamp in a lack of living space: 150 applicants for 60 new apartments!

Trappenkamp, Deutschland - In the small community of Trappenkamp, an acute lack of living space is shown, while interest in new apartments is increasing enormously. The construction of three apartment buildings by the Wankendorfer building cooperative has already mobilized over 150 interested parties, although the first apartments can only be obtained in six months. Dr. Ulrik Schlenz, the board of the cooperative, announced that the marketing of the 60 new units begins in mid -November.

Demand far exceeds the offer. "We have more applicants than apartments," emphasizes Schlenz, while the living space in Trappenkamp is becoming increasingly rare. Many interested parties already reported at the groundbreaking ceremony of the project, which indicates the urgent need for small apartments.

Details on the new apartments and the rental prices

The rents for these new apartments are strongly dependent on the type of funding. The 20 freely financed units start from a square meter price of 11 euros. Favorable options are the subsidized apartments, whose square meter prices are 6.65 euros for the first funding route and 8.50 euros for the second funding route.

In order to be entitled to these funded apartments, potential tenants require a rental authorization certificate, the award of which is linked to the total income of the household. For single people, the income limit in the first funding route is 1792 euros gross per month. In the case of multi -person households, the total income cannot exceed up to 2475 euros.

The boundaries increase by 20 percent for the second funding route, which means that an individual can earn up to 2150 euros and the limit for a multi -person household is 2970 euros.

background of the lack of living space and political demands

The Wankendorfer building cooperative invests almost 15 million euros in the project, which would not have been feasible in view of the increased construction costs without public support. Schlenz therefore calls for more government support programs to determine the growing lack of living space.

In addition, Mayor Harald Krille draws attention to impending cuts in the country's urban development funding, which would have followed catastrophic for the municipality. The city has already invested resources in the development of construction areas in order to promote housing construction. A former industrial area is now being used for new residential projects, and the Wankendorfer are planning to renovate an old apartment block in the center.

For those interested who want to rent one of the new apartments, the cooperative offers the opportunity to contact the rental office directly. Chantal Ertzinger is available as a contact for this and can be reached by phone.
