A shocking incident occurred in Bad Segeberg today! During a traffic control on Bramstedter Landstrasse/B206, the officers discovered a van that was loaded with frozen goods. At 10:45 a.m. the Mercedes Sprinter was stopped at the confluence with Fahrenkrug, and what the police found was alarming!

In the chilled cargo space of the van, there were numerous meat skewers that urgently need to be kept cool. But the measurement on site resulted in a catastrophic result: the core temperature of the skewers was far too high! The warmest value was terrifying -4.5 degrees Celsius, while the regulation requires a temperature of at least -18 degrees Celsius. The food supervision of the Segeberg district was immediately consulted, and the decision was made quickly: the perishable goods had to be destroyed!
