Apple truck crashes: fire brigade in large-scale use in Moorrege!
in Moorrege, in the Pinneberg district, a spectacular accident occurred on Monday, October 7, in which a truck, loaded with about 20 tons of apples. According to the fire brigade, the incident happened around 8.15 a.m. on Haselauer Chaussee, which distributed the apples over an adjacent field.
The driver of the truck had apparently got on the slippery banquets with the right front tire. Despite his attempts to stabilize the vehicle by counter -steering, he lost control and the truck tipped over to the right. Fortunately, the driver was not injured in the incident, although the truck was significantly damaged.
fire brigade measures and streets blocking
The fire brigade was immediately alerted due to the danger situation. This blocked the Haselauer Chaussee for several hours to carry out the clean -up work and ensure security. However, the situation was complicated. In addition to the empty pumping of the diesel tanks, the fire brigade itself could not do anything, as there was no way to set up the overturned truck with the approximately 140,000 apples. The additional support from Uetersen also did not bring a solution.
A special crane was necessary to put the vehicle back on the wheels. However, the arrival of this crane was long in coming and took until noon. Up to this point, the road remained closed. The exact property damage caused by the accident has not yet been quantified.
The accident not only shows the dangers of slippery road conditions, but also the challenges that can arise when removing such incidents. The fire brigade and other emergency services worked under difficult conditions to ensure the safety of other road users and to recover the accident vehicle. Details about this incident are still sparse, but local sources report in detail about the events that led to this remarkable accident.
