Scharbeutz. The anticipation for the largest ice rink of Schleswig-Holstein is huge! From November 16, an impressive area of 2000 square meters of real ice cream will open in the spa park. The organizers promise a spectacular ice world for the 2024/2025 season, which is supposed to inspire both locals and visitors.

"The Eiswelt 2023/2024 was already a great success," explains Tim Czayka, marketing manager of the Lübeck Bay (Talb) Tourism Agency. "We have gained a lot of valuable experience and are determined to do it even better this season." The popular tourway is rebuilt and the craftsmen are already at work. The new trail, which is up to 3 meters wide, will make ice skating an unforgettable experience. Visitors can even watch the ice skaters over the ice while gliding!

Unique ice landscape

The tour connects two ice rinks: a covered area of 450 square meters and a new area of 550 square meters on a tennis court. This innovative design ensures that visitors have even more space for ice skating. In addition, an ice stock arena with five curling lanes is being built, which enables ice stock shooting without restrictions.

A highlight is the eleven tons of heavy steel bridge, which leads over the Kurparksee and carries the ice skaters safely. The ice quality is guaranteed by a special ice cleaning machine. The new ice world will also be equipped with numerous tent structures that offer a generous changing area and 120 free lockers. Various stands that also offer vegan dishes take care of the physical well -being. Admission prices increase easily: children now pay seven euros, adults nine euros for two and a half hours of ice skating pleasure.

The ice world not only promises fun, but also an environmentally conscious concept. With 80 percent green electricity and energy -efficient ice generators, those responsible rely on sustainability. The tents are not heated over 20 degrees, and there is a reusable system as well as regional dishes and drinks. Scharbeutz becomes a winter attraction - a place where everything revolves around the joy of ice skating!
