Edeka Lensahn: Mega conversion for the supermarket of the future!

Large changes are in Lensahn! The Edeka Jens-Markt attracted the screws after its closure and is now an exciting construction site! Construction has started in the past few days. Managing Director Swen Rathjens, who leads the market from the island of Fehmarn, promises: "The market will not be recognized!" It is not just redesigned here, there is a completely new shopping experience!

The sales area is enlarged from 1000 to impressive 1200 square meters! Wider corridors and a more diverse range are waiting for customers. The change in the weather not only brings a breath of fresh air, but also a single entrance from the parking lot. To create more space, a listened playground gives way that was rarely visited. A brave step on the way to the future - Lensahn is refreshed!

New look, new offers!

but that's far from everything! The supermarket is equipped with the latest LED lighting, heat recovery for a pleasant climate and self-service checkout. Market manager Eugen König also announces an antipasti bar and a new backshop-everything will be brighter, friendly and inviting! And for lovers of fresh baked goods there is an Edeka baker who can act independently of the market. The Mien Backstuu bakery chain is happy to move into its new place in Edeka Jens, where it can present the full range.

The construction work is already in full swing, and until the reopening on November 28th, the Jens merchants strive for a quick completion. In fact, everything - from ground to blanket - will shine in a fresh shine. The location has an eventful history and has changed earlier, but now a bold jump is pending in the 21st century! The big reopening is on November 28th, and there is a lot of offer, also for the new workforce, which grows from 25 to almost 30 employees. The expectations are high, and the anticipation for a brilliant future as well!
