Kiel. A gastronomic miracle in Kiel has seen the light of day! Mike Neumann, the creative head behind Farina di Nonna, revolutionized the pizza landscape with his innovative concept. "We had just brought Farina di Nonna to the market when Corona came," recalls Neumann, who converted the challenge into a golden opportunity. While others watched, he started with a delivery service that boomed during the Lockdown!

The secret ingredient? Convincing quality! "We didn't reinvent the pizza," says Neumann, "but we have thought a lot about how it should be." With a dough that rests for several days, and ingredients directly from Italy, he has conquered the hearts of the Kiel in the storm. In the summer of 2021 he opened his first restaurant in Kiel, and the concept opened: Farina di Nonna is now a hotspot with 180 seats and offshoots in Neumünster, Lübeck, Rendsburg and Hamburg!

A concept that inspires!

Neumann's vision? An uncomplicated premium pizza! "Our pizza should be an uncomplicated premium product," he explains. From classic margherita to the flamed pizza salsiccia ardente - there is something for every taste. The restaurant also offers seasonal specialties and creative vegan options with almondmus. Neumann has a sense of what the guests want and remains true to his concept: less is more!
