Ratzeburg: Netto market after the roof of the roof in demolition-what happens now?

Ratzeburg. A dramatic picture offers itself in Möllner Strasse: The net market is a shadow of itself! A yellow excavator digs through the rubble of the collapsed roof, while rubble and parts of the roof lie on the floor and in containers. Red flutter tape and a construction fence keep curious looks away and mark the danger zone. Only the walls and a small part of the roof are left - the rest is history!

"We broke off the roof to about ten percent," reports Muhammet Kaya, the site manager of "Hasu Abort GmbH" from Bad Schwartau. The demolition started in mid -October after the roof collapsed under mysterious circumstances in July. The exact cause remains a mystery to this day! The last remains of the roof are to be removed in the coming days.

Before the excavator began to demolish, the cash registers that were left behind with all goods were left behind. The collapsed roof was removed bit by bit, while wooden slats and rubble were carefully sorted in the parking lot - from foil to insulation wool to food. The site manager explains that the rubble is removed in containers. The demolition of the rest of the roof is quick, but the crucial question remains: "A structural engineer first decides whether the walls stop. After that, it is decided how things will go," said Kaya. The tension increases-what will become of the net market in Ratzeburg?
