TSB Flensburg triumphs: Fifth Fjord Cup victory in impressive manner!

TSB Flensburg won the “Förde Cup” in 2023 and was able to successfully defend the title of TSV Nordmark Satrup. This has already been the fifth victory for TSB Flensburg since its first participation in 2019. The tournament took place in the well -attended Fördehalle in Flensburg.

In the preliminary round, TSB Flensburg was strong and won all the games. The PSV Flensburg started as an outsider in group B, but had to accept several defeats: against TSB Flensburg you lost 0: 3, while the games against SG Langenhorn/Enge-Sande (1: 3) and if Stjerne Flensborg (0: 7) were also lost. PSV Flensburg only achieved a draw against TSV Kropp (1: 1). TSB Flensburg, on the other hand, dominated his preliminary round group with victories against TSV Kropp (3: 1), SG Langenhorn/Enge-Sande (7: 1) and IF Stjerne (4: 1). TSV Kropp finally took second place in the group with seven points.

The defending champion TSV Nordmark Satrup disappointed in Group 1 and completed the tournament with only four points. This was only enough for the last place, despite a victory against SC Weiche Flensburg 08 II. The latter were group winners with seven points. In the semifinals, SC Weiche Flensburg 08 prevailed against TSV Kropp, while TSB Flensburg clearly won his semi -final against TSV Rantrum 3-0.

In the final, TSB Flensburg triumphed again with a clear 3-0 win against the city neighbor and thus secured the trophy.

In addition to the sporting highlights, the “Förde Cup”, which took place on January 4, 2025, was a big event in the Flensburg region. With an impressive field of participants, which not only included local teams such as TSB Flensburg and TSV Kropp, but also the Danish Aabenraa BK and the U21 of SC Weiche Flensburg 08, the tournament offered a classic indoor format with all-round gang. The beginning of the event was planned at 1:00 p.m. with an attractive supporting program that also included goal wall shooting and appearances of local dance groups such as the hip-hop crew Supreme. Entry to this event was affordable, and visitors were able to look forward to meals on site.

The prize money was 1,500 euros. Sponsors such as SBV Flensburg, the Flensburg brewery, the Ergo Agency Rico Uecker, Nospa and the VR-Bank supported the event, which was ended with the award ceremony at 7:00 p.m.
