However, the North Germans, under the direction of coach Nicolej Krickau, had to work hard against the bravely fighting guests from Saxony. Emil Jakobsen was the outstanding player of the evening and scored impressive nine goals.
The beginning of the game was anything but easy for the Flensburg. They had difficulty finding into the game and could only tear the helm around in the middle of the first half.
