Eisbaden in Flensburg: Donation campaign for the needy starts now!

In Flensburg an extraordinary event took place on Sunday: the ice bathing in the Baltic Sea, organized by the group "Ice Bathroom Master Flensburg". At a water temperature of about 4 degrees Celsius, numerous participants took part in this brave spectacle, which was not only an adventure for everyone, but also followed a good cause.

The sponsors of the event had agreed to donate 30 euros for each participant who jumped into the cold water. The money collected benefits the Fördehilfe association, which helps in need and homeless people in the region. As part of this generous campaign, sponsors also had the option of donating individual amounts or general amounts to further support the vital services of promotional help.

Fördehilfe and their offers

The organization Fördehilfe e. V. was founded in early 2023 and offers a low -threshold support offer for people in need in Flensburg. The offers include warm meals, food allocation, animal needs, hygiene articles, clothing and individual support.
