Two years ago, the project was presented by the State Office for Road Construction and Traffic, but since then nothing has changed. Where's the longed -for security for the cyclists?

Especially the operators of the farm shop, led by Karen Menges, show calmly to the delay. "We are not angry, we just wait," says Menges. This relaxed attitude is in stark contrast to the growing frustration among the other residents and cyclists who long for a safe route. The authorities grind slowly, but time is for the many commuters and leisure cyclists who have to use the dangerous road every day.
