Nordsachsen. An exciting weekend is imminent! The first Christmas markets open their goals and promise a festive atmosphere and numerous events. From mulled wine evenings to concerts - the region has something to offer for everyone!

Friday Highlights: in Radefeld a mulled wine evening in the cherry house will be celebrated in Schkeuditz at 7 p.m. with the Christmas concert "The night was never so clear" of the Saxon wind pphilharm. At 7 p.m., Eilenburg invites you to an atmospheric city tour in the lights that ends with singing and stories in the castle cellar. For the film fans there is the demonstration of "Gundermanns Revier" in the Kulturbahnhof in Bad Düben at 6.30 p.m.

Saturday events: In Schkeuditz, an Advent market with choir appearance and handicrafts take place from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Dölzig is enthusiastic about a big Christmas fire and Santa Claus, who is expected at 3:30 p.m. In Eilenburg, an Advent concert by the district music school "Heinrich Schütz" will be performed at 3 p.m. And in Torgau the fairy tale Christmas market will open at 3 p.m., including the farewell of city Christmas man Eberhard Sowa!

Sunday attractions: Schkeuditz offers an Advent market with Irish-Folk concert from 2 p.m. In Torgau, the giant tunnels are cut at 3 p.m. and the puppet theater "Christmas in the fairytale land" provides entertainment. Eilenburg's Burgberg becomes the stage for the Christmas exhibition "Random perspectives" with works by the hobby painter Mirjam Berger.
