The patience of the drivers is required, because the traffic between Mühlberg and Torgau must currently roll over the detour in Brandenburg, as packically turned into a large construction site - including full closure!

It was only in July that the starting signal for this large joint project between the Free State of Saxony and the municipality of Arzberg was given. With a whopping 950,000 euros of the state funds for road construction and another 160,000 euros for the side facilities, you have invested heavily. Around 250 meters of new sidewalk are being built, on the right side of the street to the bus stop. Another 500 meters are joining the new road construction and have hopes for a significantly better infrastructure.

The circumstances were catastrophic: the old state road between Kaucklitz and the Brandenburg border were like a creepy adventure playground, which made the journey to the ordeal and in particular cycling is a risk to life! But now there is a rescue in sight, because the state of Saxony has finally agreed to modernize the outdated connecting road section by section. The turn began in 2022!
