Nikolaus boots search in Torgau: more boots, more joy!

Torgau. The anticipation is huge! In Torgau, the exciting Santa Claus boot search again becomes the highlight of the Advent season. After the overwhelming success last year, when the children fought for their filled boots, the inner city management under the direction of Stefanie Stramm is still taking a shovel this year! The demand was so great that many children had to go home disappointed. "We had limited the campaign to 162 boots. In the end there were even tears," recalls the moving moments.

This year the shops are ready to hide more boots than ever before! Preparations are in full swing in order to give every child a joy and revitalize the city center with happy faces. Last year 32 shop owners participated and the streets were full of excited children who were looking for their treasures. The Glenn and Stan Kuschel brothers experienced an unforgettable adventure when they found their boots in a toy shop and in the office market. The joy of the sweet surprises was indescribable!

Action begins on Nikolausag

The big starting shot will be given on December 6th, Santa Claus Day! The children have time to find their boots until December 13th. Together with their parents and grandparents, they will browse the shops, looking for the personal Santa Claus. In order to cope with the rush, the number of boots is increased and the participating business is also growing. The aim is to give all children the opportunity to be there without tears and disappointments!

Tax dates for the boots

The polished boots can be released on 14, 19 and 21 November between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the "Stadtliebe" office of the inner city management in Bäckerstrasse.
