New police growth in Bad Düben: Training with water cannons and action!

Bad Düben. An exciting chapter begins for 28 new chiefs in the Federal Police department Bad Düben! After an intensive six-week introductory training, which ended with spectacular exercises such as water cannons and demonstration locations, the freshly baked officials are available to start their service. Police spokesman Michael Marx emphasizes that the training not only included tactical procedures and options for action, but also the training for life -threatening areas of use and dealing with special tools.

The prospective police officers were trained in practical scenarios, which also included arrest and transport techniques. "An important part of the collaboration was the combination with water cannons and special cars that are used for dangerous locations such as demonstrations and football games," explains Marx. While the new colleagues in Bad Düben are starting their job, 20-year-old Franz Neumann from Delitzsch already has routine. He has been in the first hundred and controlled at the German-Polish border.

Franz Neumann, who combines his passion for sport with his profession, is enthusiastic about his work. "Federal police officer is my dream job," he says, reporting of his first steps to the federal police, which he discovered at a job fair in Leipzig. After two and a half years of training in Bamberg, he is now stationed in Bad Düben and regularly commutes to the Ludwigsdorf border crossing, where he combats illegal migration and arrests smugglers.

"We repeatedly state violations of the residence law and the narcotics, explosives and weapons law", Neumann describes the challenges of his job. Despite the potential dangers, he remains optimistic: "I know that it is no longer an exercise. That's why you always have to be on the hat, because you never know what can happen." The new federal police officers are ready to face the challenges and ensure security!
