Lina Wagner: Eilenburg's new creative ambassador inspires the youth!

"Hello, hello, people!" This is how Lina Wagner begins her latest Instagram video, which draws attention to the “Just” youth club in Eilenburg. The 19-year-old creative ambassador has been on behalf of the Tourism and Commercial Association (TGV) since the beginning of June to document life in the small town and to inspire young people. From colorful buildings to a french fries-Wagner shows Eilenburg in all its facets and brings a breath of fresh air to the city, which presents itself as a "world-sound city".

The innovative project, which was launched by PR manager Sven Lehmann, aims to integrate a young person from a distance in Eilenburg for a few months. Lina Wagner has proven to be a perfect protagonist and will live in the city for two and a half months to share her experiences about social media. "I was already looking forward to it," she says. With a small budget and lots of freedom for her own ideas, she explores the city, visits companies and asks the people on site "unpleasant questions" that interest young people.

The response to Wagner's videos is promising. Over 268 followers on Instagram and 56 on Facebook testify to a growing interest. On average, their videos are viewed 1000 times, with half of the spectators coming from Eilenburg. "The result is impressive," says Sven Lehmann, pleased about the attention that the project generates. However, the target group of young people is only partially achieved because less than half of their followers are under 34 years old.

Despite her positive experiences in Eilenburg, Wagner draws back to the big city. "It is more familiar here," she says, but still recommends the city for everyone who is looking for a quieter environment. The project will continue until the end of the year, and the future of social media channels remains exciting. Eilenburg could soon put on more young people - thanks to Lina Wagner and her creative ideas!
