SV Tractor Mochau remains unbeaten at the top of the table!
In the football district league, SV Traktor Mochau remains the measure of things. After a convincing 3-0 victory at Roßweiner SV, the team is not only at the top of the table, but has also survived all previous games unbeaten. Coach Christin Straube is satisfied: "So far we have implemented everything as we wanted it from the start," he said in front of around 250 spectators after the game, with nine yellow cards being distributed.
In the game itself, the tractorists dominated the events largely and brought the victory to the field, which was sealed by goals by Nartzschke, Gasch and Schwitzky after the break. "The victory was deserved, but maybe a goal too high," said Straube, who particularly praised the defensive stability - only six goals in eight games are impressive.
Weaknesses in other teams
However, the teams from the Döbelner region experienced a completely different day. SV Gleisberg could not assert itself against the BSV unit Frohburg and lost 1: 5. Despite the appealing first half, in which Philipp Böhm ensured compensation, coach Frank Baumert completely overwhelmed after the break.
The result for BC Hartha was more painful, which, despite the home advantage, went on 0: 5 against SV Klinga-Kammelshain. The hosts, under coach Benjamin Bamburski, did not manage to oppose their home fans, and continue to lost the connection.
Also the SV Ostrau had to accept a bitter 1: 3 defeat, while they could still hope for the same opponent in the last few minutes-Felix Zschockelt brought them to 1: 2 in the 82nd minute, but the lid was taken on in injury time. Coach Jörg Soujon spoke of a high individual strength of the opponents, who decisively shaped the game.
difficult times in front of the door
The situation is not easier for Ostrau in the second half of the season. In addition to a challenging remaining program, there is also a point deduction of three points, so that the team is now in the penultimate place. So the trainers have to work on the problems to create the turn.
On the other hand, Sunday was disappointing for Döbelner SC, which gave a 2-0 lead against TSV Großsteinberg and had to be satisfied with a 2-2. The equalization fell in the sixth minute of stoppage time and led to another setback for the district champions' ambitions.
It is certain: The competition in the league is strong, and while Mochau continues with success, other teams are urgently struggling for connection and against relegation. An exciting competition year for the region is in full swing, the next games also promise numerous changes in the table and could be decisive for the coming weeks.
