Creative chaos in the Döbelner town hall: Christmas exhibition of the Stone Gang!

Dip. The Waldheimer Steinchenbande gathered in the holy halls at the weekend to prepare a breathtaking Christmas exhibition. Thousands of Lego stones are transformed into fascinating works of art: from majestic buildings to fantastic machines-the anticipation for the opening on December 1st is huge!

The last exhibition of the Waldheimer Lego enthusiasts was slowed down by the Corona pandemic, but this time the organizers expect a rush of visitors. With impressive exhibits, including an Eiffel Tower one and a half meters high and the equally large cathedral of Notre-Dame, which consists of 63,000 parts, the exhibition becomes a real festival for the eyes. Marcel Ressel, the head of the stone gang, has his hands full to put the creative ideas into practice. "There is a lot to discover, that's enough for several visits," he promises.

The Waldheimer Steinchenbande, which has existed as a separate community of interests since 2020, has been committed to passing on the fascination of creative building with LEGO. The group currently consists of ten active members, including three children who regularly tinker and build in their new club rooms. "70 percent of the exhibits come from private ownership," explains Ressel. The exhibition will not only come up with impressive models, but also with interactive elements such as a roller coaster and an illuminated ice rink.

Preparations for the exhibition are a lengthy process that takes up to half a year. From planning to implementation - every step is carefully thought through. And that's not all! A surprise will be presented in March, which will amaze visitors. The Waldheimer Steinchen gang remains on the pulse of the times and is also planning exciting hands-on activities for the coming year to further spark the enthusiasm for LEGO.
