Roßwein. The anticipation of Christmas increases and in Roßwein this is celebrated with a spectacular event: The long shopping night! On Friday, November 8th, the city turns into a sparkling sea of lights. This festive night will be held for the eighth time, and despite the decreasing number of shops, the remaining dealers are motivated to offer the Roßweinern and their guests an unforgettable experience.

From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., a total of 19 starting points shine in festive light and invite you to stroll and shop. The streets around the market, the Nossener, Döbelner and Dresdner Straße not only offer shopping opportunities, but also delicious snacks and exciting actions. A highlight of the evening is the traditional lampion parade, which begins at 6.30 p.m. on the market square and is accompanied by the Roßweiner players. In order to complete the evening properly, visitors can expect an impressive fireworks at 9 p.m.

More hands-on activities for shopping night

The long shopping night also offers numerous hands-on activities! A bouncy castle for the little visitors is set up on the bridge square, while creative workshops take place in the community center. The bakery concert by Jörg Hühnerbein is particularly exciting at 7.15 p.m. in the Körner bakery. Here the guests can not only enjoy it, but also become active: At the Tekart rating, jewelry can be made from electronics scrap-a creative challenge for young and old!

The dealers rely less on high sales that evening, but rather on a festive ambience and the mood for the upcoming Christmas season. In order to encourage the Roßweiner, to visit the shops, there is a voucher campaign with 14 shopping vouchers worth 20 euros each for the first time.
