Görlitz -During a check on Saturday, October 5, 2024, the federal police force met with considerable legal involvement by a 43-year-old man. As part of the temporary border controls on the motorway rest area at the Neiße, the officers checked a car approved in Poland. The man, a Polish citizen, had been sought by the Munich II public prosecutor with an arrest warrant. There were reasons for this arrest warrant in a previous judgment of the Miesbach district court. He was convicted in June 2023 because he was spotted at the wheel of a vehicle despite an existing driving ban. The punishment for this was made up of a fine of 1000.00 euros and additional court costs of 77.50 euros.
