In the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Mountains, the problems in schools are increasing. All three high schools in Pirna were affected by water damage that occurred within a year and a half. While insurance in two schools regulated large parts of the damage, this is not yet the case at a school. There are currently serious restrictions in the sports hall of the Pestalozzi high school, which is expected to be used again from January 2025.
