Vernissage of the Tangermünder artist Rieke Schmieder begins!
The artist Rieke Schmieder from Tangermünde will issue her works in the Stendal district court from January 13, 2025. The exhibition, which is under the title "Viva L`Arte", is accessible to interested parties by the end of March 2025. Admission is free. The opening times are from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Fridays until 1:00 p.m.
On the vernissage on January 13th at 3:00 p.m. in the Stendal district court invites a champagne reception. Vice President Haide Sonnenberg will open the event, and Rieke Schmieder will give insights into her artistic work. Schmieder was born in Dresden, where she received her first training and has lived in Jerichow since 1998. She has been an artist since 2002 and has been operating her own gallery in Tangermünde by 2023.

The exhibition in the Stendal district court is not the only way to experience Schmieder's art. An event will also take place in the small market hall in Stendal on January 31, 2024. The vernissage takes place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and is organized by the Altmark e.V. volunteer agency. Schmieder, which has been offering painting courses for 17 years, shows landscapes, portraits as well as abstract and socially critical works.
Rieke Schmieder, who opened her gallery in 2006, has carried out several projects in recent years, including art orders, art trips to Tuscany and book illustrations. Due to the Corona pandemic, she had to dissolve the painting groups, but in 2022 it was founded with former members. Interested parties can visit the small market hall from Tuesday to Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
