At this event, fairytale tricks for adults are shown, whereby admission is free and the demonstration begins at 3 p.m. Four impressive works from the DEFA studio for cartoons are to be expected, which both entertain and stimulate thought with their extraordinary visual language and philosophical approaches. A highlight of the performance will be reunited with the actor Rolf Herricht on the screen, as pieschen-aktuell.de
The film program contains, among other things, "The Faust of Faust" from 1981, as well as "The truth about the Froschkönig" from 1986. The event has the title "Seniors. During the event, the physical well -being is also taken care of, with snacks from your own gardening. Visitors should bring warm clothes to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Review of the GDR
The event not only offers a way to entertain, but also to reflect on the history of the GDR. In connection with the topic, you can remember the numerous myths and reality during this time. The GDR was characterized by surveillance, censorship and a strict border regime, which prevented many citizens from escaping into the West. The stories and cultural life of this time are processed in educational formats, which show how freedom and human rights were restricted in the GDR, such as srf.ch
The linking of this film screening with the history of Defa fairy tale art offers both a cultural and an educational perspective on this formative time in German history.
