Leipzig, Deutschland - In a dramatic effort, Johann G., a suspected left -wing extremist, was arrested in a regional train near Weimar on November 8, 2024. A mobile command of the Saxon police had his sights on the 29-year-old after he was on the way to a friend who was also monitored. The Saxon Interior Minister Armin Schuster described G. as "one of the most sought -after left -wing extremists" and a central piece of the puzzle in an extensive investigation that is connected to the group around Lina E.. G. has been under immersed since summer 2020 and there are several arrest warrants against him, including the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe.

In parallel to this arrest, the Dresden public prosecutor carried out extensive missions against sexual violence on children on November 7, 2024. Sächsische Switzerland-Eastern Mountains and Meißen were carried out in a total of 28 apartments and three workplaces in Dresden as well as the districts of Saxon Switzerland. This is already the fourth of this kind, which is directed against 28 accused. In addition, two other apartments in Peine and Göttingen were searched, where two men are suspected of having interspersed on foreigners under dangerous conditions. The investigation relates to incidents from August 2023, in which 33 people were transported from Slovakia to Germany.
