Experience Spain up close: cuisine and cultural weeks in Chemnitz!

On Monday, November 4, at 6 p.m., Chemnitz goes on an exciting journey of discovery through Spain! In the Tietz event hall, on the third floor, the festival begins with live music and delicious, authentic specialties. On this special evening, the Talent embassy councilor for culture and science, Helena Cosano, and the head of the Chemnitz Adult Education Center, Grit Bochmann, will officially open the Spanish weeks. Bienvenidas y Bienvenidos - are welcome!

From November 4th to 15th, the fascinating series "Land-Special" is all about Spain at the Volkshochschule. Come and discover the language! On November 5th, 8th and 13th, from 5 p.m., interested parties can get to know Catalan, Galician and Basque courses at crash courses-no prior knowledge, just curiosity! The three times 90-minute courses arouse interest in the wonderful speech diversity of Spain.

But that's not all: On the very delicious Friday, November 8th, the culinary revolution after the Conquista will be brought to life! The native speaker and hobby cook Ana Albornoz brings the world of Latin American ingredients closer to the participants. No previous knowledge is required here - diversity cost! And for film fans: On Wednesday, November 13th, from 6 p.m., the film evening "Cine Español" invites you to dive into the exciting film world of Spain.

Another highlight will take place on Tuesday, November 12, at 7 p.m. when the actor Dirk Glodde slips into the role of the famous Don Quijote.
