Chemnitz, Deutschland - Chemnitz - great relief: The missing girls Olga (13) and Elisa (9) are back!
On Sunday afternoon, the two friends from the Chemnitz district of Sonneberg disappeared after they did not stick to their agreements and did not return home. The last time they were seen at the main train station in Chemnitz at around 8 p.m. The police were alerted and the relatives immediately reported the two as missing.
Search action by the police
The officials searched for the girls searched for the girls, but without success. "It can be assumed that the two friends of friends are missing together," said police chief Doreen Stein. Already in the past, Olga and Elisa had experienced similar adventures when they did not stick to time arrangements and only returned the next day.
"It is possible that the children are separated or continue to stay in the Chemnitz urban area or also drove elsewhere by public transport," added Stein. The redeeming news came on Monday afternoon: the two girls were found in Chemnitz and are good. The police thanked the public for the support in the search and thus ended the search.
