Chemnitz, Deutschland - Yesterday a radiant event illuminated the capital: the coveted school management award was awarded in the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection in Berlin! The Chemnitz cooperation between FDTECH GmbH and the Johann-Wolfgang von Goethe-Gymnasium was awarded the 3rd place. This honor in the category "Cooperation School - Company" recognizes your impressive commitment in the pilot project "Economy meets school", which revolutionizes the educational landscape in Chemnitz!
A look at the winners
The award ceremony was a festival of recognition in which numerous outstanding companies and schools were celebrated for their tireless efforts at the interface between school and work. The jury was enthusiastic about the creative concepts that offer young people valuable insights into the world of work. In the category "Cooperation School Companies", cooperation are recognized that help the students better understand the challenges of the world of work.
The innovative project "Business meets School" started at the beginning of the school year 2023/24 and aims to promote securing skilled workers in Chemnitz. Once a week, companies design practical lessons for students from the 7th grade who not only minimize the loss of lessons, but also bring mathematics, technology and physics to life! This unique initiative currently binds four high schools, two high schools, a special school as well as 15 companies and external partners. More and more companies are invited to participate and share their expertise - a profit for everyone involved!
