Hoyerswerda. In a courageous step against the impending danger of forest fires, the city of Hoyerswerda invests in state-of-the-art automatic Wald fire early recognition! This life -saving technology is used in the districts of Bautzen, Görlitz, Meißen and Nordsachsen and controlled by the fire brigade in bold. The city council's technical committee has now approved the long overdue renewal of the outdated radio transmission technology between the cameras and the headquarters.

The renowned Technologies for Earth and Space GmbH from Berlin will carry out the necessary work by February. This camera -based monitoring, which has existed for 22 years, now receives an urgently needed upgrade. The costs are borne by 75 percent by the Free State of Saxony and 25 percent of the four district administrations involved.
