Genthin, Deutschland - The tension in Genthin increases! The decision will be made on Sunday, and 14.2% of the 11,578 Genthiners who are entitled to vote have already made their vote by postal voting. The city has received 1,646 postal lists by Friday afternoon, as the election manager Carola Elsner reports. Anyone who has not yet chosen has the opportunity to pick up their postal voting documents at 6 p.m. In special cases, as with illness, the documents can even be applied for by Sunday at 3 p.m.

The completed postal voting documents must be thrown into the city's mailbox by Sunday at 6 p.m. Then close the polling stations and the counting of the voices begins. Documents that are thrown in after this period are not taken into account. The voters must choose in the polling station, which is specified on their ballot. The first results are expected on Sunday after 6 p.m. and the meeting point will report on all events of the election!

For the voters who have not yet chosen, there is all information about the candidates. Surprisingly, the former mayor Matthias Günther (non -party) and Thilo Voigt (Pro Genthin voters) have withdrawn from the race. Nevertheless, their names will be on the ballot paper because they were confirmed by the election commission. Should one of the two still reach the necessary majority, he could reject the election. On Sunday there are a total of eight candidates to choose from, six of whom are officially aware of the election.
