In a dramatic incident on Tuesday afternoon near Osterfeld, four people were injured, including two officials of a radio patrol car! The shocking accident occurred at the intersection of the B180 and the state road 190, at the Naumburg junction of Autobahn 9 when the patrol car with a special signal was on the road.

The police report that the radio patrol car collided with a van in the traffic lights that came from the Landesstraße 190. The violent collision hurled both vehicles against the guardrails and let them overthrow a embankment, where they rolled over! Two other vehicles waiting at the intersection were also damaged. A 44-year-old driver was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital. The two inmates of the patrol car, 24 and 27 years old, are also seriously injured.
