In the entire state of Saxony-Anhalt, the 7-day incidence is 16.8 per 100,000 inhabitants. The number of new infections amounts to 64 and there were 3 new deaths in connection with Covid-19. In Germany, 1088 new Corona cases are currently being registered, which makes the situation in the Burgenland district appear relatively stable.
With regard to the vaccination campaign, the official data reported that 76.3% of the population in Germany received basic immunization by April 8, 2023. This corresponds to around 63.5 million people who have received at least one vaccination.
