Seniors learn the Internet: course starts on November 22nd!
In today's digital world, it is becoming increasingly important to make access to new technologies easier for the older generation. In order to meet this need, the senior citizen's office of the St. Wendel district organizes a special Internet course in cooperation with the district college. This course is not only an opportunity to learn digital skills, but also an opportunity for social interaction among like -minded people
The course will be carried out on Friday, November 22nd, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, November 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The participants have the opportunity to acquire basic knowledge of the Internet in a safe environment, which is often a challenge for many seniors. The event takes place in the district college at Werschweilerstrasse 14, where the participants are trained in small groups of a maximum of 15 people. This ensures that every person receives sufficient individual care.
Details and registration
The course fee is 30.40 euros per person. For many interested parties, this could be an affordable way to find their way better in the digital world. Registrations are possible both by phone at (06851) 8015201 and by email to seniorenbuero@lkwnd.de. It is recommended to register early because the number of participants is limited and the demand may be high.
This course represents a valuable initiative that can help older people to overcome the often experienced social isolation in the digital era. The ability to use the Internet not only opens doors to information and education, but also enables you to stay in touch with family and friends, which is particularly important in times of distance measures.
