Gerolstein celebrates the carnival opening: triumvirate creates the mood!

Gerolstein, Deutschland - Gerolstein is in a state of emergency! The new carnival session on Brunnenplatz was opened with a spectacular start that was celebrated with eleven powerful handcuffs. The royal chauffeur, Stefan Liske, brought the triumvirate to the scene in a festively decorated pick-up, which was upgraded with rousing mood music. Professional filmmaker Michael Clemens recorded the magical moments with his camera.

Although the official prince's proclamation only takes place on January 5, we can already present the radiant faces of the main actors: Prince Frank I (Frank Kalmes), Bauer Karsten (Karsten Eckhardt) and Jungfrau Joana (Joachim Bach) will rule the Gerolsteiner Fastnacht. They are supported by adjutant Sandra (Sandra Kalmes), Pagin Ilona (Ilona Meyer) and Elli (Elli Nuthmann). The anticipation is tangible when the Jecken welcomes their new rulers.
