Future diploma in Trier: Children celebrate for a greener world!

Kapelle des Trierer Campus 2, 54296 Trier, Deutschland - trier. On Sunday, November 10, 2024, the chapel of Trier Campus 2 experienced a real festival of joy and pride! Around 65 children who had participated in at least four events of the annual sustainability program between May and October ceremoniously received their future diploma. The excitement was literally noticeable when Sophie Lungershausen, managing director of the local agenda 21 Trier, welcomed the little guests of honor and their families together with the project mascot 'Sternic'.

With a heartfelt thanks to the approximately 25 supporters: inside and organizing from the region, which made this great program possible, Lungershausen headed the highlight of the day: The Witten theater group "Achja!" Enthusonful with her ecological music theater piece "Motte wants sea!". The history of the fishing daughter Motte, which gets to the bottom of plastic waste in her father's networks, suggested the children to think about the environmental problem - and that with a good dose of joke and charm!

an unforgettable moment

After the exciting appearance, it was finally time for the highly expected diploma handover. The small environmental experts beamed with pride when they received their documents. As a special surprise, there was a voucher for a basketball game by the Trier Gladiators, sponsored by the SWT for the newly baked diploma. The future diploma in 2024 was organized by the local agenda 21 Trier and received financial support from various institutions, including the Nikolaus Koch Foundation and the city youth care Trier.
