Loud bang in Neuhütten: Police investigated the bike loader incident!

A shock for the residents of Neuhütten! On Saturday morning, November 2, at 9:45 a.m., a deafening bang broke through the silence and made people take notice. A witness in the Muhl area heard the loud bang that immediately raised the suspicion of a shot. The alarmed police from Hermeskeil immediately went on a search, but the origin of the noise initially remained a mystery.

But the situation continued! At 10:10 a.m., a man reported that the side windows of a wheel loader were broken after the bang. The wheel loader was on a meadow on the outskirts of Muhl, near Talstrasse. The 44-year-old driver, who was luckily unharmed, found the damage after leaving the vehicle. The initial investigations by the police indicated a dangerous incident: the damage could have been caused by a projectile, presumably from an air or small caliber rifle!
