TV Rheinzabern: Athletes celebrate impressive success 2023!

The athletes of TV Rheinzabern rays with success! The outstanding achievements of the past year were celebrated in the brilliant sports ceremony in the gymnasium and festival hall. Among the radiant stars, shot put and discus thrower Jerome Schwager stood out, who despite his absence with impressive victories at the indoor Palatinate championships and the Rhineland-Palatinate championships. Schwager has qualified for the southern German and German championships - a performance that flashes respect!

The young gymnasts of the TVR also shone and secured an excellent third place at the Gaum championships, which took place in Rheinzabern. The talented team consisting of Sophia Huber, Emma and Lina Hamburger, Zoe Sophie Donwen, Kati Fockers and Anna Bentz impressively demonstrated their skills. The tennis men H60 also celebrated a magnificent triumph by becoming masters in the association league and climbing into the top division-the highest division in Rhineland-Palatinate!

Another highlight of the honor was the impressive Judith Baumann, who had already completed 162 marathon runs - a performance that ensured incredulous astonishment! In addition, Reiner "Schleifer" Fischer was honored for his 20th sports badge. The athletes of the TV Rheinzabern can proudly look back on their successes and look forward to an equally successful year 2025.

The honors ranged from the trainers to the active athletes of athletics. Jerome Schwager set impressive standards with his shot put of 14.47m and his discus throws of 49.86m and 47.67m. The tennis department is also impressive: the H65 double round became a champion in the A-Class and rose to the Palatinate League. A year full of success for the TV Rheinzabern, which will go into the history books!
