A dance café that opens the heart and brings joie de vivre back! In Speyer, the committed Alexandra launched a unique project that not only makes seniors dance, but also smile. Since May 2024, the place has been turning into a pulsating dance floor, where waltz, twist and rock ’n 'roll meet the air. The idea came from Alexandra's own story, which is characterized by music and dance. Despite difficult times, her mother found consolation in dancing, and now Alexandra passes on this joy.

The response was overwhelming! At the first event there were over 80 dance enthusiasts who asked immediately after the next appointment. "I come here because it gives me a lot of strength and a lot of energy," says one participant enthusiastically. The dance café is more than just a place to dance - it is a meeting point where coffee and cake are enjoyed, stories are told and new friendships are created. The 90-year-old Ottilie, who almost gave up after the loss of her life partner, finds new energy and joie de vivre.

The dance café not only rekindled the passion for dancing, but also wrote new love stories. Gerlinde, who was destroyed after a mourning case, not only enjoyed dancing, but also a new partner. Together with Karl-Heinz, she visits the meetings and feels "like new born". Alexandra shines with joy about the success of her project: "It just makes sense to hear what people want." The dance café is a monthly highlight that offers joie de vivre and community for everyone!
