In a gripping showdown of the Badminton association league Südwest, SG Speyer/Römerberg swept off the ASV Landau IV with a clear 8-0 in the last home game of the first round! The players showed an outstanding performance and secured victory without any resistance. Matthias Beck, Dirk Zenker and Martin Flörchinger were the stars of the men's singles and steered important points for the magnificent overall result.
But that wasn't all! Louisa Schellenberger shone in the women's singles and also contributed to the overwhelming victory. In the exciting double parts, Flörchinger/Björn Wieschendorf and Zenker/Clifford Griessel prevailed, while Schellenberger and Katrin Neubauer also triumphed in the women's doubles. The mixed double rounded off the impressive idea when Neubauer/Griessel secured the last point for SG Speyer/Römerberg.
