symbolic inauguration of the tree boxes

On November 14, 2024, the dedication of the dedication signs took place at the temporary locations between Altpörtel and Kaiserdom. The tree boxes, which were made of robust Douglasia wood and appealing larch wood, are initially on the southern side of Maximilianstrasse and are distributed to their final places after the Christmas market. Peter Bödeker, chairman of the performance group "Das Herz Speyers e.V.", was enthusiastic about the initiative: "The bucket that the city built on their own has become really nice."

A big thank you goes to the spacious donors, including the United VR Bank Kur- und Rheinpfalz, the Schuhhaus Bödeker, the Sparkasse Vorderpfalz and many more. This campaign is a shining example of how cooperation and commitment can enrich the cityscape of Speyer!
