An exciting puzzle has captivated the readers of the "Speyer Rundschau"! A picture puzzle was published on Monday that asked the participants to guess ten pictorial places in the historic cathedral city. The challenge was that every place was composed of two terms. The response was overwhelming: until the closing date for entries on Thursday, 350 solutions were received - and almost all of them were correct!

The resolution of the riddle brought some surprises! Among the located locations was the Nonnenbach (1), followed by Eselsdamm (2), Ameisenberg (3), Mäuseweg (4), Lebkuchengasse (5), Königsplatz (6), Hirschgraben (7), Kutschergasse (8), Grüner Winkel (9) and the unicorn fountain (10). A real pleasure for all urban experts and puzzle fans!
The happy winners
The tension rose when the winners of the great prizes were announced! Six exclusive Rheinpfalz-Dubbetasen were raffled off under the correct entries. The lucky winners are: Mahlea Kant, Sonja Viola Senghaus, Beatrix Immesberger, Wolfgang König, Stephan Hanisch and Monika Lochbaum - all from Speyer or the surrounding area. The prices can be picked up in the Speyer local editorial team of the Rheinpfalz, Heydenreichstraße 8.
