The popular columnist Michael Konrad, known from the "Rheinpfalz-Am Sunday", brings its weird stories and the distinctive Palatinate dialect back to the Speyer City Library. At 7 p.m. the time has come and visitors can look forward to an evening full of humor and dialect!
Konrad, who has been researching the peculiarities and beauty of the Palatinate dialect for 18 years, takes his fans on an amusing journey through his columns. In his weekly dialect column "I Mään Jo Blooß", he not only illuminates the bizarre sides of life, but also the cultural peculiarities of the region. With a wink he tells of his “roommate”, the sarcastic wife, and his dreaded hereditary aunt, who challenges him in political talks. Konrad promises to make readers and listeners laugh and at the same time to stimulate thought about the Palatinate language.
