Aurel Popescu (left) stated: "In the end, the daycare center will cost more than twice." Originally, the costs for the double -storey new building, which is supposed to replace an existing building on the ginsterweg, were estimated at 2.6 million euros. However, in 2023 more than 2.2 million euros were already spoken, and the expenses continue to increase.

Several political groups called for the possibility of claims for damages to the surveying office. Despite the concerns, the city council ultimately voted for the additional editions, with the majority of the members. It was also known that the move from the old to the new building will be delayed. Mayor Monika Kabs (CDU) informed that the daycare center will probably only go into operation in the coming summer, with a move in the second or third week of July. This time the date is "definitely" after there had already been several shifts. The opening of the new daycare center was originally planned for 2024, then postponed to January and finally to the first quarter of 2025. First, four groups should start, the full number of six groups will only be achieved in 2026.
