Dannstadt-Schauernheim, Deutschland - emotional memorial celebrations in the Rhein-Palatinate district! On Sunday, November 17th, the victims of wars are commemorated in numerous municipalities of the Rhein-Palatinate district. These moving events are an important sign of commemoration and memory.

In Dannstadt-Schauerheim, the commemoration begins at 11.30 a.m. in the Schauenheim cemetery. Mayor Manuela Winkelmann from the CDU and Deacon Claus Kasper will keep moving speeches. The ceremony is accompanied by musical performances by the Musikverein Harmonie and the Choir Community in 1868 Dannstadt. In Hochdorf-Assenheim, people gather at 2 p.m. in the mourning hall of the cemetery of Assenheim, where local mayor Walter Schmitt from FWG and Pastor Tobias Laun speak the memorial words. Here, too, the Hochdorf-Assenheim Choir Community and the Werskapelle Assenheim take care of the musical accompaniment.

In Rödersheim-Gronau, two memorial events take place. At 2 p.m. a wreath is laid in the cemetery in Gronau, accompanied by the Protestant church choir Alsheim-Gronau and the MGV Liedertafel. Later, at 5 p.m., there is a memorial lesson in the Catholic Church of St. Leo in Rödersheim, which is musically designed by MGV Frohsinn. In Schifferstadt, the citizens meet at the war memorial in the forest cemetery at 11.15 a.m. Pastor Michael Erlenwein keeps the memorial speech, while the male choir Schifferstadt and the Musikverein in 1974 provide musical accompaniment.

In mother city, the memorial event begins at 11 a.m. in the new cemetery. Pastor Heiko Schipper will speak here, and the 11th grader Lisa-Marie Weigelt will also keep a speech. Mayor Thorsten Leva from the SPD will do the death ceremony, while the wind orchestra Mutterstadt and the local singing clubs provide musical accompaniment. A common song of everyone present will form the emotional climax of the ceremony.
