Sankt Martinzug in Sinzig: A shining festival of the community!

Sinzig, Deutschland - Sinzig shines in the glossy of lights! recently the city center of Sinzig turned into a festive sea of colorful lanterns when the rainbow school invited to one of the largest Saint Martins trains in the region. Almost 500 participants, including schoolchildren, students, teachers and children from the Janusz Korczak School, made this evening unforgettable. The train, led by Sankt Martin Hoch to Ross, pulled through the streets and ensured a magical atmosphere that made the heart of every viewer beat faster.

With a happy singing and the rousing music of three Spielmannszügen - Freiweg Sinzig, Rheinthaler and Spielmannszug Löhndorf - the train started to move. The lovingly tinkered lanterns of the small participants shone brightly in the dark and gave up the spirit of the Martinsfest. After the move, all classes and numerous residents gathered for a big fire to enjoy the warmth and sight of the fire. A truly festive sight!

The participants and guests were able to fortify themselves with children's punch, mulled wine, cheese rolls and sausages in the roll. In particular, the siblings of the school children were delighted with the Martinwecke, which were financed by the school's support association. The Sankt Martinszug of the Rainbow School was again a complete success this year and a shining example of cohesion within the school community as well as the successful cooperation between the rainbow school and the city of Sinzig. A festival that is remembered!
