Heavy frontal collision on K65: driver and passenger injured!

on Tuesday evening, October 1, 2024, a serious traffic accident in Kettig, a small town in Rhineland-Palatinate, specifically on the K65, occurred near the B9 towards Koblenz. A 23-year-old girl was traveling with her car when a 25-year-old man who drove in the opposite direction caused a frontal collision at the same place.

The violent collision led the 23-year-old seriously injured. The rescue workers of the Mülheim-Kärlich volunteer fire brigade and the emergency services had to take extensive measures to free the young woman from her vehicle. The 25-year-old man also suffered injuries and had to be taken to a hospital in Koblenz for medical treatment.
