Word god celebration and lecture: Help for dementia patients in Pirmasens!

On November 29th at 3:30 p.m., the St. Elisabeth Church will be the scene of a special word of word, which brings people with dementia, their relatives and friends. Under the motto "We tell you to the dear Advent", this event will not only be a spiritual experience, but also an opportunity to exchange ideas in a familiar atmosphere and to refresh memories of previous rituals. After the celebration, everyone is warmly invited to coffee and cake - a moment of conviviality that warms the hearts!

dementia affects around 1.8 million people in Germany and often remains hidden. In order to raise awareness of this challenge, an revealing lecture will take place on November 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Dr. Karl-Josef Klees, an experienced neurologist and psychiatrist, will talk about the symptoms, the course and the treatment options of dementia. This event offers a valuable opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the disease that affects many families.

Both events are the result of a cooperation between the Kath. Family Education Center & House of the Pirmasens family, the Dementia and the Local Alliance for People with Dementia in the Southwest Palatinate district.
