The 44-year-old Sebastian Nargang, vocational school teacher from Wiesbaden, recently found himself in the shoe city of Pirmasens! Together with his family and friends, he made an exciting autumn vacation in this surprising city. His first conclusion? Pirmasens offers more than you think! The family visited the exciting dynamic and plans a hike through the picturesque witch gorge - a highlight that they didn't want to miss!

"It's my first time in Pirmasens and I'm pleasantly surprised!", Sebastian is enthusiastic. During the city visit, however, he also noticed that the charm of the past is still very present. "But there are many corners that could use some love and care!" So there are vulnerabilities in the cityscape. Compared to his homeland, Wiesbaden has more cultural offers, said the teacher. "There are numerous museums and leisure opportunities, but the city also threatens to outdate. The offer for young people disappears - where are the clubs? They always have to switch to Mainz!"
